The original law firm was established by Frederick B. Gieg, Sr. in 1940 in Altoona, PA. Frederick B. Gieg, Jr. joined the firm in 1971. The building that currently houses the practice was built in 1916 and purchased by Frederick B. Gieg, Jr. in October 1982.
